Gastrointestinal Imaging
Maria A. Manning, M.D., completed her undergraduate education in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University School of Engineering, followed by medical education at the Jefferson Medical College of Philadelphia – Thomas Jefferson University. After completing residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, she combined clinical fellowship training in Body Imaging at the George Washington University Hospital with research fellowship training in Genitourinary Radiology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. She returned to the University of Maryland School of Medicine to join the faculty in the abdominal radiology section, where she developed and served as the Director of the Center for Medical Student Education in Radiology. After eight years, she left Baltimore to join the esteemed faculty in the Body Imaging section at Georgetown University Hospital. Currently, Dr. Manning is Section Chief of Gastrointestinal Radiology at the American Institute of Radiologic Pathology (AIRP) and Professor of Diagnostic Radiology at the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, where she is the Director of the Abdominal Imaging Fellowship and the Breast and Body Imaging Fellowship. She is primarily interested in the education of medical students, residents, and fellows, and has received severalhonors and teaching awards. Her area of clinical practice is abdominal imaging.

Jeanne M Horowitz, MD is a Professor of Diagnostic Radiology, Vice Chair for Academic and Faculty Affairs, and Director of Gynecologic Imaging in the Department of Radiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. Dr. Horowitz received her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine in 2003, and completed her radiology residency and Body MRI fellowship at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL from 2004-2009. Dr. Horowitz currently directs the Body MRI fellowship at Northwestern. Her research focuses on gynecologic imaging, including magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, and ultrasound. Nationally, Dr Horowitz is involved in committees for the Society of Abdominal Radiology and American Roentgen Ray Society, and she lectures for the American Institute of Radiologic Pathology in Silver Spring, Maryland.
